Pre-order Policy

This policy explains how pre-orders work at Treasure Vault. It applies to any product marked as a pre-order on our website.
A pre-order secures a product before it is released and ready to dispatch.

Pre-orders at a Glance
• Each pre-order product shows its current release date.
• Payment is taken in full at checkout.
• Placing a pre-order is a commitment to buy. Change of mind cancellations and refunds are not available once an order is placed.
• Pre-order funds form part of our general business funds and may be used for any business purpose while your order is open.
• We dispatch as soon as stock is received and processed, generally within 1 to 5 business days of it arriving.
• If supplier stock runs late, please allow up to 14 calendar days after the advertised release date.
• Anything we cannot supply is refunded in full.
• The price you pay is the price at checkout.
• Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Payment and How Pre-order Funds Are Used
Pre-orders are paid in full at checkout unless the product page clearly says otherwise.
Your payment is processed like any other order. It is not held in escrow or in a separate trust account.
Once paid, pre-order funds form part of our general business funds and may be used for any business purpose while your order is open. In practice that means committing to supplier allocations early, paying for stock ahead of release, freight, secure storage and the day to day costs of running the store. Paying suppliers early is what lets us hold an allocation for you at a confirmed price.
What the funds are used for in the meantime does not change what you are owed: we supply the product you ordered, or we refund in full any quantity we cannot supply.

Release Dates and Dispatch
Release dates come from manufacturers, distributors and suppliers, and are estimates unless we expressly say otherwise. We update the product page once we have confirmed information.
Stock often arrives around the advertised release date. Where supplier or distributor stock arrives later than expected, please allow up to 14 calendar days after that date. This is a maximum allowance for affected orders, not the usual wait.
Once stock is with us and available for fulfilment, orders are generally dispatched within 1 to 5 business days. Delivery time starts after dispatch and depends on the service selected at checkout.

Cancellations and Change of Mind
A pre-order is a commitment to buy, and we allocate stock against the orders we receive.
Once your order is placed we do not cancel or refund it for change of mind. That includes where our price or the market value changes after you order, where the product is later discounted or included in a sale, where you find it cheaper elsewhere, or where you simply no longer want it.
This does not limit any cancellation, refund or remedy you are entitled to under Australian Consumer Law.

If We Cannot Supply
Pre-order stock depends on the allocation we receive from suppliers and distributors, and allocations can be reduced, delayed or cancelled at short notice.
A pre-order reserves stock against the quantity available to us. It is not a guarantee that the full quantity ordered will be supplied.
If we cannot supply some or all of a paid pre-order, we will tell you and refund the amount paid for the affected quantity to your original payment method.
A delay on its own does not cancel a pre-order. If a product cannot be supplied within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund or another remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Contact us and we will work through it with you.

Pricing
The price accepted at checkout is the price of your pre-order.
A later price rise is not a reason for us to cancel your order or ask you for more. A later price drop, sale or discount code is not applied backwards to an order already placed, refunded as a difference, or grounds to cancel and reorder at the lower price.
If a pre-order is accepted at a price or with details that are clearly wrong because of a genuine pricing or technical error, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full. We will contact you if that happens.

Orders with In-stock and Pre-order Items
Orders containing both are generally held until everything is ready, then dispatched together. The same applies to pre-orders with different release dates.
If you want in-stock items sooner, place them as a separate order. You are welcome to contact us about splitting an existing order, where additional shipping may apply.

Order Limits
We may set quantity limits on high demand products so more collectors get a fair chance to buy, and we may cancel or adjust orders where there is duplicate ordering to get around a limit, fraud, misuse or a technical error.
Any paid quantity we do not supply is refunded.

Product Details Before Release
Manufacturers can change packaging, artwork, names or contents before release, and early images and descriptions may change. We update listings as confirmed information becomes available.
If what you receive is significantly different from how it was described when you ordered, contact us.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
